SECRETARY OF MY INTERIOR

Can you believe that, I'm back at it? I'm still painting. Not the walls this time. I'm painting my old childhood bedroom suit. Not my bed, just the dresser and book case. What was once white, was now yellowed and dirty. So I, put a fresh coat of white on it. I can't actually believe that, I kept all of that stuff. However, it is old and distressed, and is by now an antique. It was my first bedroom suit. I think that, I was about a year old, when my parents bought it.

Considering that, I'm 36 years old now, it's pretty old. Again, what was old, is now in. I'm not one to throw something out, so I refurbished it. I sort of like the challenge of, redoing something. I'm pretty crafty that way. Afterwards, I'm proud of the work that I've done. The family always says, "hey... that looks pretty good." All I have left to do today, on my book case is some touch ups. I also have to put the handles back on. I repainted them gold as well.

I don't know about you, but this time change is killing me. I feel drained all day long. It is going to take quite some time to get use to it. I think that, I need a morning nap. I mean I don't think, I know it. Ya'll have a good day.
