SCHOFIELD
The English dweller in the hut or shed in the field would be Schofield.
First, I thought that I would clarify the meaning behind the surname; my married surname Schofield. Which is why I entitled my blog "Sitting In My Schofield."
On to more important matters. Again, I created my blog yesterday afternoon to vent my frustrations on those who have wronged me so-to-speak. Bottom line, this all stemed from a hurtful E-mail. I don't know about you, but when someone wrongly attacks my character and my intentions. It just makes me want to lash out. Although, I'm much too old, and don't intend on making the time for such High School drama. I'm talking about all of that he said, she said bologna.
As a 30 somthing, yes that's right, I said 30 something. You didn't think that I was just going to come out and tell my age did you? Women aren't great fans of doing that. Anyway, in your later years, your middle- adult years you by now should have crafted the art of being "the bigger person." As children, if someone hurt our feelings, our actions may have been more of a physical nature. Meaning, we may have hurt them physically. I know, in this day day and age of road rage and similar emotions, we could all just easily run someone off the road.
In conclusion, if you didn't get the gist of today's post. No matter how old you are, "be the bigger person" if someone says something nasty about you. Especially if it was unture. Those kind of people have to live with their conscious. Again, it's only words, and you know the truth. Life isn't always black and white. Although, I have found, it's a lot easier just to cut your ties with those sort of people, and move on with your life. Remember, supposed friends wear all kinds of disguises. See you soon!
